Everyone has a story to tell. So do the residents at the W Apartment on the 17th floor. The lobby doors are open, welcoming you to join in on their journey.

The Blueprint

I have met a lot of people in my life. Some were strangers who I saw on public transit and others are friends and co workers I have known for a while. Some I interact with briefly. Some I only observe. Others have invested in my life and me in theirs. Taking inspiration from a snippet of their life, their personality, or my perception of who they are, I created these characters.

Each of these characters navigate a loss in life and come through their circumstance finding love and hope. The characters featured represent a diversity of people who live in Vancouver. My hope when writing these stories is for you to read them like you are listening to your next door neighbour.

Takashi, Camila and Vivian are neighbours but are also co workers at the Ramen Bar. An incident with Auntie Louisa makes them revisit old memories and must confront what they avoided.
