February marked a full year of this working-holiday-in-Korea-sabbatical. I am thankful to everyone who has ever read my posts and was invested in my adventure. One of the “I wish in this lifetime I could…” items I wrote down in my early twenties was realized.
I went home for the Lunar New Year holiday and was met with so much support from my co-workers, friends, and family. In front of the Pacific Northwest mountain views, anxiety about the future was silenced. I see an ecosystem that exists on its own without my control. So, then why not enjoy the views on the path that is marked for me to travel on instead of asking, “Are we there yet?” every half hour.
What’s next?
I have another year on my working holiday visa and decided to stay in Korea until it expires. It’s a working year now, and am splitting my time between working and writing. I’ll keep updating my writing progress and feature short writings inspired by my time here in Korea.
Thank you again for reading, and I hope that my future writings will be fun for you to read.
